the 300 dollar stack....

some of you have seen this truck from the rally. it is my buddy's rig, i built the entire truck pretty much. well he wanted to be different, so he had another buddy weld up a stack for it. 300 dollars worth of stainless pipe.
cost him 50 bucks.

Does not look bad.
I saw a super duty one time that had a single stack coming out the middle of the bed, but the twist was the stack was square not round like normal. it came straight up and then before the top of the cab it was angled back. i am not a stack guy but it looked cool. it was matte black also.

The stack i saw was something like this. pretty much an aussie just squar not round. it looked much better in real life. i am kind of going on memory with this drawing since i saw it last march.

On the subject of stacks.. how odd do you guys think some aluminum 4.5" pipes would be? I can get them for free, and if not for scrap price. Theyre right at 5' and already have a 90 at the bottom so right about perfect. Ive just never dealt with polished aluminum much. Opinions?

Corey, That's Badass. I'm Jealous. I have a section of 3" stainless I was contemplating doing that with! I would want a single cat style stack. But I have no idea how to weld stainless?

What is the diameter of that pipe? Thanks

the size is 4 inch. unsure on the brand of rim, but they are very common, he just painted the middle black. and jon he was only there for the show and shine and had to get going.

Touching on the aluminum stacks, i built a CAT style and made mine out of 6" ID aluminum pipe It measures 6 5/8ths OD if i remember correctly and i just wire wheel it with my grinder i like the look of it and its unique and it was free scrap pipe haha
