Back in June I went to the IDA rally where Mel graciously timed my truck, I have owned this truck since June of 95 and it has never been timed and has about 87K miles on it. I think it was at 2* and Mel bumped it back up to where it`s supposed to be, at that time I was getting somewhere between 10-12 MPG, today I filled it up for the winter and figured my mileage since Mel laid his hands on it about 1200 miles ago (no I don`t drive it much)...mileage jumped up to 14.5 thats basically around town mileage but I did check a 200 mile run when I took my daughter to school, I got 15.6...thanks again Mel and thanks to Chris who hosted the event, with diesel at $3.19 I need all the help I can get.

goes to show, low miles on the engine is no excuse not to keep things tuned up.i likely need it too,and should stop procrastinating.
