Suspension choices with pros and cons

I saw the coil spring kit was expensive. It actually looks like they modifiy the lower ball joint mount to give you a lift with it as well. I just thought the idea was kinda cool. I personally think I could make something like that for far less money. I like the idea of coil springs for a conversion since I think it would simplify things more.

A buddy of mine put a ttb under a crew Cab, its awful. Front end sags way too low and the thing turns like a semi truck.

Just a thought. If you're concerned about the height of the truck with a D60 under the front, My F350 4x4 hasn't been too tall for towing anything I've ever hooked up to. Including gooseneck stuff. If getting in is a concern just get some steps. Wait you might have running boards now? Hmm.

Yep shes got running boards. It's more trying to keep drag down. I know I'm driving a brick anyway but the lower I keep it the better. Less wind drag means better mileage. Not that big of a deal around town but on a 3000 mile trip 1-2mpg will add up pretty quick.

I might very well end up making an air dam or valence of some kind after the swap. Been thinking about it for a while and have a couple ideas.

I think you could do better on mileage by slowing down to 55mph(sucks, but speed range these were made for, +getting there faster really doesn't save much time), perhaps switching to electric fans, and using a gear splitter.

I would love a gear splitter but they're kinda pricey. 55 is horrible in a 70 lol!

I wish I could put in a brownie box like another guy on here did, the funds just aren't there for any gear splitter type device yet. I've got too many projects anyway!
