Stewart Warner gauge hookups

I got ahold of some neat old used Stewart warner gauges, but I managed to loose the diagrams of where the wires went when I yanked them. I think I've figured them all out but the temp gauges.
I'm pretty sure the S is for signal, and obviously gnd is ground, but there is an "I" terminal as well. is this for ignition ( i.e. wire that is hot with the key ) or ?

That's how my VDO gauges are hooked up in one of my trucks. I is for ignition power.
