I went look at it today. I was looking at my old hub with all the broken bolts in it tho
Those bolts are short!! Would putting longer bolts help? Last time I had problems torquing it with new bolts (70#). Felt like it kept stretching

USE STOCK BOLTS or get some good studs. Get new bolts from dealership if need be...

Some reason my truck has studs on one side, and bolts on the other. Lol

Not sure if this will work on a sterling however I had a similar problem with a dana 60 (similar design). The bolts holding the axle kept coming loose and oil leaked all over the wheels. I simply bought new grade 8 lock washers for each bolt. Reinstalled and they never came loose again.
