Odd question, I know. I have a 93 F250 7.3 IDI parts truck that runs, but I sold the steering column out of it. Was wanting to fire it up for someone interested in the rest of the truck but have no clue what I need to do to go about it. I’m guessing some pins need to be jumped in the wiring harnesses that hooked to the column, but which ones. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, guys. I know I’ve not been very active here lately, but hoping to get back to it soon.

Personally I'd just power the fuel shutoff solenoid on the IP and then jump the fender solenoid to crank it. If it doesn't want to fire a small shot of starting fluid would solve that.

If they want to know the glow plugs work it'd be a little bit more work to run them.

As far as actually hotwiring the truck I don't know.
