Well my napa starter went out in 4 months yesterday before I had a advance auto starter it went to both were the same design. What is the best starter for our trucks and where do we buy them. Thanks! Napa # 2446265

I bought the new (not reman) one from autozone for my psd. Hasn't slowed a bit and I've had to crank the crap out of it through the winters. Few weeks ago finally did my glowplugs, only one was working.

to me,the best starter is one that comes with a lifetime warranty.
auto zone sells it's remans with 'em.i got one for chip truck and i had to replace it at least once but since it's a fairly quick job and doesn't cost me anything to exchange it,works for me.
