like the title says, what all do you guys really do at this rally? i have gone to a motorcycle rally every year for the past 3 years at tailofthedragon.com and that place is a blast. a week on a motorcycle and nothing but curvy roads, and parties everynight. but i have been curious about a diesel trk rally. is there any offraod place to play around at? i have seen some pics of the campground where the campers are parked at, so i figure "socialize" cough cough party there, but other then that, what else? :dunno and please dont get mad at me im not tring to get:backoff here, just curious.

Heath and Missy

Lots of socializing, putting faces with screen names, checking out each others trucks, campfires, road trips, kids games, eating, checking out the local area/events. Tons of fun. If someones truck breaks during the event, all efforts will be put forth to get them back on the road. Lots and lots of memories. Not a big drunken free for all, more of a family type setting. Some social drinking MAY happen, but it's not the main event.

Not to highjack, but what do you race? I raced Open Superbike with the AFM and AMA out west here for about 16yrs. The first pic was my FZR1000 (#209 and then #3;Sweet) and then my SV650 playbike.

Gary covered it very well. It is a fun time and addicting. Go to one and you'll go to others. It's is a family event and yes, social drinking at the campfire is a nightly occurence. However.......folks know there are children and families there, and no one gets drunk and acts crazy. If that where to happen......it would not fly.

We always have trips to local sites and automotive related events and activites. Mel usually does a timing clinic and times like 10 trucks in a row! The big thing is meeting everyone and hanging out. Seeing new faces and old friends.....and seeing the trucks.

Too bad you can't make it........hope to see at a rally one year.
