First rad hose I've ever seen with mandrel bent tubing between the hoses. No wonder there expensive. Damn good thing they have CAD for design.

Did ya know, all these vehicles and engines are designed 2 to 3 yrs ahead of time?

Yes.. I realize whats "new" on the market has been running for a few years before we they public gets to buy one.

those are better bends then our stock exhaust!!

i bet you could have a hydraulic shop clamp new rubber on your solid tube.. but i bet the solid tube rots before the rubber goes bad

The '02 5.4L radiator hose is worse. It has a junction with 5 or so different hoses coming into it in between the radiator and the pump. That ******* is not only expensive, but hard to replace. By the way, they aren't as cheap as Ebay, locally.
