I found this snapon mt 257 timing adapter and was looking at the line clamp. Seems its not round like ours but square. Wonder why. This requires the use of a adjustable timing lite. Just connect the timing lite to power and place the spark plug connecter on the meter large wire loop. then the clap goes on the heard line and the other side of the clamp harness goes to a ground. Switch it on and rev engine to 2000 rpm for timing. now I don't recommend this type of meter because your using the timing lite and trying to shoot the dampner timing tab can be tuff. Getting a straight on flash to the tab is tuff on a V belt engine but the serpentine belt engines are easier.
