Snap On MT480

Is one of these even usable if the luminosity probe is missing?

I've been reading about how the probe is out of production, and even when new was $200...I'm looking at three separate MT480's on ebay right now and not a single one has the luminosity probe with it.

The probe wouldn't have to be from snap-on. But I have no idea where else you would get one.

the one in the factory ford rotunda unit is too small.

if it has the magnetic induction pickup IE the spark plug wire clamp and the tach sensor, i have a fox valley diesel timing box that should work good i can sell you cheaper then ebay. it does lumi timing and iv got the glow plug fitting and everything.
