left work today and trans was and still is slipping really bad. taking off in first even with EASY throttle input it will easily rev to 3k rpm. there were a couple times that i was running 55mph and turning 2500rpm in 3rd gear conveter unlocked. the conveter does not want to lock up at all. when it does lock it is a very slow engagement. each gear no matter what kind of throttle input revs out to 3k rpm then has a very firm shift. no o/d light flashing.

fluid level is good, color is good, smells good, temps are good.

You have a pressure problem. Have a pressure test done.

You should be seeing higher than average temps when the tranny slips.

Have you checked the fuses for the instrument cluster, the speedometer memory, and the Trans computer. If any of them is blown you will get rough shifting. Of course if the instrument cluster or Speedo memory are blown it will be obvious (no speedometer).

everything works on the instrument cluster.

i tried shifting it manual 1,2, then into o/d. 1 and 2 felt strong when manually shifting them. i had to drive the truck yesterday and it worked fine. tomorrow i will reset the TPS and see what happens.
