Your taking a long shot gamble in a JY block. Most blocks go there because of cavitation, holes in the cyl wall(s). Check out our Marketplace Forum, been some guys parting out.

I've been looking at that form but haven't found one yet unless I have over looked it. An the jy I agree the block I looked today had been sleeved would like to fined a block that just needs to be honed factory cylinder no over bore

There's a 6.9 with C6 in Houston for $700.
I've seen that one, and earlier version of that ad was a lot more money and listed all the work they'd done to it - reworked heads, etc.
