sending unit for 85 6.9

I am having a huge problem in finding a sending unit for my front tank on my 85 6.9 lmc truck doesnt list one and the parts stores locally dont have it either. can anyone help me out?

because i can put 10 bucks in the tank and it says a half tank which i know isnt right and it will hit empty and drop way below on the gauge then come back up to a quarter before its completely empty so i take it its my sending unit

I think Ford still lists them for 125$ apiece.

NE1 know the part #? Here is one on ebay for an 88-89 for 27 bucks. Will it work though??...

well see its for the front tank not the rear so i think being diefferent sizes it wouldnt register right so i dont think it would work. i just cant find a sending unit for the front tank whatso ever!

Oh sheet. Didn't see it was for the rear tank!

front tank, DIESEL from a 86 f250 with a 6.9 and a 19 gallon steel tank.
