SD drag link thread size

bit of a long shot-but does anyone know the thread size of the drag link-the balljoint that sits inside the pitman arm? I lost the nut to it and need to flat tow the truck a few miles. Dont want a whole new tie rod for this.

I know it is a fine thread and bigger than 5/8ths. Dont know if std or metric.

Is it a jam nut? If you have to and aren't going to use that link in the end, you could always drill and pin it.

I mean i dont really even nee dit hooked ot the box for this trip. but yah, would be nice ot get a nut for it so i can still use that link.

Oh the castle nut? Parts stores usually have them. Check the help section if you can't find them.

I doubt help section would have a metric thread which this may be. Also have a feeling oreileys is going ot want to sell me the whole drag link and donest havt just the nut. Ill give em a shot though.

Go to the store and get a new drag link and open it up and match the nut up. This way you will know for sure.

nobody has any catcle nut sin stock. All std anyway. I beleive this is M16x1.5 or M16x2.0
