Rotunda injector tester

So, I've had a lead on an injector tester that I've borrowed a few times over the years. Well the shop has pretty much slown down to a stop.
today I stop in to say howdy and my buddy asks me if I'm still interested in the injector tester.
Yup, sure am, I say.
He tells me they're both over on the shelf and I asked him what it's gonna cost me.

Ehhh, I know where they're at if I need em. I haven't used in awhile and you'll get more use out of em than I will.

I didn't quite know what to say. They're both loaded up with fluid and the one needs a handle. Heck, even got a spare line out of the deal.
Not to shabby of a day I guess.

All I can say is wow... You didn't even need to wear a mask when you stole them.... Now... As Mel has told me the fitting on the line is the most important part so don't loose one. They are really useless without that fitting. I have the instructions and parts list if you need anything.... Like a handle... The handle part number is item 7 on the parts sheet and is part 34918-WH2... Handle. You have a filter inside of the resivour too. The calibration fluid is 208629

If you're interested in getting rid of one my family could really use one. We've tried buying the one at our IH dealer for a while and they wont sell it, but they are Aholes about testing these injectors. One guy will say they dont test them anymore, and another will say they do. And I had to drive in there 3 times before they actually tested my last set. Just sick of it and want my own tester.

Come to think of it, IIIRC, I did snag it for the Lisbon Rally and did spray some juice to demonstrate injector patterns and pressures.
Gots no problem doing it some more cause it keeps the smell of diesel fuel colonge freshened.

Prolly gonna replace the fluid in em cause I run some thru it this afternoon and it smelled kinda varnished. Not sure if the handleless one works yet, but I've got some time to tinker with em this winter.

Yeah I was shocked as well and had full intentions of giving him some cash for em, but I should also say that he gave me 4 complete sets of used injectors as well. Hmmmmmmmm.

I can't really get rid of one right now given the "conditions" he set, but Darrin and I were talking this evening and he mentioned something that may be able to be worked on which could benefit many of us.
That will have to remain in a top secret status until it gets declassified.

Today kinda was like christmas for that matter. Prolly gonna be awhile before I run across a deal like that again.
Although he did tell me while ago when I got the injectors, that he had a few complete factory turbo cores floating around somewhere.

When we test them, no return caps are needed, cause we're just looking for pop off pressure and spray patterns/ fuel atomization and proper pintle seating to sniff out the leakers.
