So my buddy has a 2000 F-250. He has some alcoas in his garage that I guess he took off of that truck. Will these rims work on big green? Also how do I measure the rim size? My tape said like 17 1/4 from edge to edge.

If you can find a van those rims stayed the same as ours till 99 or 2000 I think. Others will chime in with the dates....

Yeah im not really looking for them, I just saw them in his garage and thought hmmmmm. How do I tell if these rims are metric or american? Im not certain they are off his 2000. He had a couple obs trucks that he sold a few years ago.

You truck is a 8x6.5" or a 8x165.1 or 2mm. In 99 they all switched to 8x170mm. If the backspacing would allow it, you could get adaptors but they might stick out stupid like.

Ask Him if He has the hubs too. It's kinda hard to bolt rims to Your truck without them.

Here is one that is even worse.

My Dad had a 97 Ford Contour, which he just traded in..... It had a rear brake hard line rust through and begin to leak. To get to the lines to repair the leak, most of the rear suspension had to be loosened/removed from the bottom of the Unibody, since the line ran above all these components. When the dissasembley began, all the fasteners on one side of the rear on these components were SAE fasteners, and the other side was all Metric fastners. This is on the same "axle" in the same car. The lugs were all the same size on both size. Had alot of fun getting that one apart, needed 2 sets of tools...... what fun.....
