Here is one that is even worse.
My Dad had a 97 Ford Contour, which he just traded in..... It had a rear brake hard line rust through and begin to leak. To get to the lines to repair the leak, most of the rear suspension had to be loosened/removed from the bottom of the Unibody, since the line ran above all these components. When the dissasembley began, all the fasteners on one side of the rear on these components were SAE fasteners, and the other side was all Metric fastners. This is on the same "axle" in the same car. The lugs were all the same size on both size. Had alot of fun getting that one apart, needed 2 sets of tools...... what fun.....
