I have a 92 ex cab long box f250 4x4
Does anyone know the stock ride height of this truck and where to measure?
There's been some stipulation on my lift

I'd suggest getting a hold of the rules/regs for your state/county for lifting a vehicle and follow accordingly. It's where THEY measure that is important. Once you have that information you can then find a stock truck and measure the same location.

Don't try to do this without arming yourself with their base line so you can work through it.

Like my axle to frame to find out exactly how much lift I have
I'm not worried about the laws
As long as I'm under 13' and headlights are under 53 then I'm legal

Good luck. I'm pretty sure every truck on this forum is either on sagged stock suspension or lifted. Lol

Measure from center of axle straight up to the edge of fender.
Or leaf spring base to bottom edge of frame.

May give something to compare to. :dunno

Contact a body or frame shop, they will have a book or computer program with specs for just about every vehicle on the road

Lousiana , land of the swamp buggies, heck, you boys can get away with ANYTHING so long as the tires fit inside teh lane and it fits under the bridges . About the only thing a cop might pull you over for is to ask where he could get his fixed up just like it :rotflmao

FWIW the '92 in my sig with new stock Ford front springs and new stock Ford front shackles has a little over an inch between the rubber bump stop and the plate the shock and u-bolts wrap around.

Thanks for that measurement but I have to find another way to measure it bc I don't believe that will be accurate if you have a stock front end and I have the d60 swap

Of course it won't be accurate F 250's never had a 60. SO you have no real way to gauge it. You could just not worry about it. Or at least not sweat petty things...yer truck sits as it sits. If it's high enough be happy if not change it.

And to make matters even funnier....not once does it say anything about a 60 in your first post
