I believe I have a dana 60 rear in my truck but I am not sure, the drums are one with the hub and I have to use a giant 1 9/16 socket to remove these 2 locking nuts and there is a keeper in there very similar to the d60 front...

Anyway, when I get in my truck first thing in the morning I have about 3in of slop in my e-brake pedal, meaning my pedal will be hanging low, there is no spring holding it up. I can still engage it no problem, its just low.
After I get up to speed I have 0 slop and the pedal is tight against the stopper like something is holding it up. After the truck sits all day at work it will have slop in the pedal again, it seems to take several hours for it to release.

It seems like dragging brakes would pull the pedal down but it pushed it up so it is vexing.

It is a MAJOR PITA to get to the rear brakes so I only want to do it once. Any idea what would cause that or things to check?
