Rain leaking into cab floor (non rust belt)

I am not so sure you should have removed that pile of stuff pictured by the wrench; I think it is a rust-proofing agent put there by the factory.


From looking into the internals of various truck's sheet-metal cavities, I am led to believe that they are purpose-built to catch and trap moisture-holding debris to speed the oxidation process.

Lol. I'm amazed at how much junk gets caught in there. It was literally mud, and this truck never leaves the pavement! I can't imagine a farm truck...

Is it just the pic, or is there a big hole just below your brake pedal?

There's a hole, I didn't look around in it, it was boxed in with metal, so I'm not sure what it's for.
