Radio Noise Capacitor

Anyone ever try one of those capacitors that plug into the regulator?
I'm planning on upgrading to a 3g system, but have other more important items to do first.

Other than some AM radio noise on distant stations when the wipers are on my 7.3 IDI has always been static free.
