I will have to do more research. Older sca's were composed of silicates, but not all.
That is cavitation. As a blank statement saying diesels need silicates is somewhat ignorant. There's a reason BITOG gets a bad rap. Lol
Pretty much any diesel running a egr cooler system, silicates are a no-no. (Obviously doesn't apply here)

This is what I researched in the regard of coolant with IDIs.
Note I do not have good(=cheap) access to us aftermarket and therefore do not like to try and error.

There should automatically be a translator when accessing the page from non GER.
The papers are Ford US anyway.
