Quick question before i replace my clutch!!

Does the splines on the disc match the trans? Did you use the line up tool?

Is there a specific way to use the line up tool? I thought all it was used for was to center the clutch while i tightened the pressure plate down?

Measure the end of the input shaft to the bearing and make sure it is the correct size. Could also be a little out of alignment and that is why are not seeing any grease on it. Hard to tell if it is aligned right or not when the transmission is in there. As you are trying to put it in the transmission might be moving the clutch and messing up the alignment.

Thanks guys, think I'm gonna order the LUK single mass...seems like they are pretty good and all the research I've done seems like the single mass is the way to go. Thanks again guys!
