Time to order new injectors. What is the pop pressure that im looking for. From what ive read on here 1900 psi seems to be the optimum. Is that correct. Can any diesel shop reset them to the pressure that you want.

Thanks in advance,
Will

Yes they can, seriously, run them for about 2 to 5k and then pull them and get them reset
The springs take a set after a while and can vary as much as 300 psi. BTDT.

Could i just go get my original injectors reset or should i buy new ones. Im guessing that over time the tips wear out. Is that correct.

Thanks again

They wear and get deposits buildup. Have them tested, should be free and then decide, if they have a good spray pattern but are low, fixem. If the pattern is bad like the ones I took in today, new is cheaper than the parts to fix the tips.

One last question. What is the best way to get a stuck copper washer out.

A screwdriver fitted into the opening will free them up. Just use a new copper washer for the size driver needed.
