Too bad yer so far out John, I could use a fast motor install assist this weekend on a F450 rollback wrecker that's rolling in today.
I'm hoping to make a land speed record as well.:sly

Almost there:D Everything on the underside is done. Radiator, new hoses, couple of electrical connections, fluids, fresh fuel filter, and startup tomorrow evening. Bought my 1st PSD oil filter, I like it;Sweet Oh yeah, I am going to put the GP controller behind the passenger side battery and abandon the yellow supply wires. An 8" piece of #6 will be the new feed directly from the battery.:sly Three #14 wires into the cab will give me the auto/manual GP controls I am looking for. I believe a double pole single throw toggle and a momentary push button will be all thats needed.

Here's a question. My truck has all the cruise control stuff on it but someone swapped out the steering wheel and column to a no cruise no tilt. Do ya think I can intercept those wires and make a little control panel for cruise that can be mounted somewhere? This has been on my mind for a while now.LOL

SWEET JOHN! Sounds like you are getting ready to fire it up. Crossing my fingers that you don't have too many bugs to work out.;Sweet

All the cruise functions go through the horn circuit, so there shouldn't be any extra wires in the column.

Okay, the only bolting left to do is the hood:D She cranks over but does not prime. I am thinking about pull starting it to keep the starter from smoking. Anyway you cut it, she's getting insured, registered, and gonna be going dowm the road under her own power tomorrow.;Sweet Got some work to do, a bit of scrapping for some rally dough.;Really

Still have CB to install, center console to install, replace pyro probe, mount new tires, holy crap:eek: hope I have time left to wash the thing, she's a bit grungy from sitting. No worries about me winning any show and shine:rotflmao:rolleyes:

Sweet John!

Can't wait to meet you and see your rig. I know you've got a lot of time, blood, sweat, and tears in that thing. It's great to hear she's back in service!
