ok i have a plan in the works but for now thats secrete
the thing is im going to need a big injection pump

now heres my options
dps pump
nmb2 had really good results with a stock size turbo and stock rpms
he could get more hp out of a gov spring his hp is still rising lol

moose pump
theres 2 options here
moose pump
good pump as i hear but have not seen any real gain info yet everyone seems to put a moose on and say wow this is great wonder what my numbers are
also the moose doesnt seem to be more than mel and id like to have a company
since if mel does die (god forbid) were all in trouble warrenty wise or getting a replacement and this pump will be pushed to its limits with my build im going to do

then the super moose
well i know nothing about it other than its better than a moose
thats good but how much better and i dont want to put 2k up for the first one without knowing itll work for a low cr turbo build

a p pump (or other pump)
now i know itll flow the fuel
i know what its capable of
but the down fall
custom mount custom tune etc.. is it worth the effort?

finally build my own db2/4 hybrid with the 4 head in the 2 rotor
i think i read the 4 flows better than a moose with 4 chambers instead of 2
now i could even put a 4 on with a custom mount too

so theres the options for me i plan to dump tons of fuel into this thing with some interesting things done to it but i cant release much till i get it setup becasue if anyone else trys this they have to be ready to bite off a ton of money if the motor blows

but heres some info it will be a
7.3t block sleeved down to 6.9
turbo rods
custom intake and exhaust manifolds
high flowing turbo
different rockers springs and cam (problly one of russ's)
and a few other tricks
but this thing needs fuel i gathered soem parts already but with the upperend i need a pump before i buy to get stuff to fit and last

give all opinions please

The dps pump has some power. Heck he said dps would make him a 4 plunger pump. <- i'd get that. I want to turbo my idi now since their is way more potential left in these motors.

this is true. My setup proved that there is alot to gain by knowing how to tune the pump properly internally.

Correct. I am officially Ken's test subject on the 4 plunger. Pump capable of 2x the output my current pump is. Not because I want to try to make 700hp, but because when my setup is in its final stage and I'm done testing/building... I want my fuel system to be confortable... all of my components in their mid range with my engine making 300+rwhp and 600+rwtq.... not everything maxed out.

Oh so we should have some 4 plungers on the market if all goes well with yours, sweet! The did have an idi make what 1000hp back in the day or something so all is possible. Well not that much unless you want a block made of jello when it runs, i wonder if they made a bedplate for the idi how it would do. If 7.3psd can make good power so can the idi, just compression and injection differences.

,

Not sure, Ken just mentioned to me that if I was interested he wanted me to test a pump for him. We are doing it in july-august.

4 plunger, .035 diameter. roughly the type of pump Ken will be modding for mine, plus his special touches.

need a bigger pump?
The Moose Pump is the same size as any ole DB2.

inally build my own db2/4 hybrid with the 4 head in the 2 rotor

If you do this and put it on a motor, can you please please pretty please video tape it when you start the engine?

Thanks,
Drew
