"pulsing" fuel filter cover

Am i nuts cookoo ...................the cover on my fuel filter "pulses"...
I can see it ! :confused:

It is the seperate type- not attached to the filter...mebee it's time for a new one?

If you break down out in the middle of nowhere, and all they have is filters with no attached lids, your screwed.

Yes, the fuel pressure does "vibrate". Everytime an injector opens and closes, it sends quite the shock thru the fuel system. Liquids can be pressurized, but they cant be compressed, so shocks transmit thru liquid very easily.

I stay away from those attached ones......haven't heard that much good about them....
