Probably. Lol I would venture to say, more to do with aeration than heat expansion.
I do have some small small leaks.
I only drive 30 miles a day now. Takes awhile to get to my OCI.
At the end, I'm barely low.

Must be nice Lol! We have put 38,000 miles on my wife's jeep we bought in March of '16! I just did the math out of curiosity and that puts us at averaging 62mi/day so I guess that's not HORRIBLE lol!

Yeah, not bad. That's about what my wife drives to work.
Another reason we got rid of the suburban for the edge. Lol

everything I do in TX is at least 30 min to an hour one way. If I feel like having a nice weekend, that's a 2.5 hour drive to Austin.

I changed my oil last friday. I used the small filter and 2 gallons of oil. Cold its 1/4 inch below add. Warmed up and after 10 minutes of sitting its 1/4 inch above add...so 1/2 inch between cold and hot.

Which is why you should be adding 2 more quarts than that... 10 quarts for a change with a stock filter, 11 quarts for PSD filter.
