alright guys what all does the 6bt swap entail or should i do a 7.3 build, this my 2 motor in 3yrs and i believe i have a rod knock.

if you are happy with 7.3 power and all just not the issues build one
if you want more power more cost and more bolt on mods go with a cummins
but you need motor mounts made up
mod the fan shroud
hammer the firewall
and some wiring but wiring is simple with a 6bt
then yo got the tranny you have a few options
stock ford unit with an adaptor (costly)
dodge unit moving the crossmember and if its auto youll want a manual swap dodge autos suck new drive shafts
then if you you use the dodge tranny you
use dodge t case or a divorced unit like a np205

I leaking injector will sound just like a rod knock. How old are your injectors??? To find the possible problem injector feel each hard line. If one is hot then its leaking combustion gas back up into it and pumping fuel in early to the cylinder.

um im not sure how old they are but it would be killer if i could like 250 to 300 horse and at least 800 ftlbs

allright well im gona keep the idi it just plays a beautiful exhaust note so here is my question ive heard that russ(typ4) did full on motor rebuilds is this true

he can do them but i dont think hes selling them plus i think hes from cali idk if thats too far from you
