Do any of you guys have IDI's in your area that you see around but know nothing else about them?

There is some dude around here that has a '92-94 F-350 4x4 regular cab...absolutely BEAUTIFUL truck. Probably one of THE cleanest I have seen around here. I first saw it 2 years ago, and I have seen it around town a whole bunch of times since then- the guy's had 3 different sets of stacks on the truck and probably 3 different sets of wheels too.

The funniest thing is, I always see it either parked or driving, but I have never a) actually HEARD it, which is highly unusual considering it has straight piped stacks on it, or b) seen who owns the thing!

In fact I just saw it parked downtown today when I went to get some lunch, and by the time I was done, it was gone. :dunno

I don't have that problem around here. There's just too many trucks around here to see one consistently.
The problem I do have is the company across the street from me has about 20 F250 & F350's in their fleet that come and go all day. I'm always looking up due to the motor sound to see if someone has the balls to steal my '92 CC. I don't care if I'm in kali, if you're attempting to steal my truck, you're getting a bullet.

Well my town is small enough i can recogize peoples trucks pretty easily. I know people recogize my truck when they find out im the guy who drives it. The problem is, the only people who take care of their trucks and turn them up drive dodges. Lots of turned up cummins in my town, not many IDIs.

Steal my truck and as a bonus you get a free bullet.... And I will give it to you in person... I like to reach out and touch someone... Mostly a thief..... I don't drive the nicest looking truck and if someone "needs it" that badly just try asking for it... I probably would help out someone that needs the help. I really have nothing someone would risk bleeding all over the streets for.....:D A locked truck just slows down a thief.....

There is a guy in my apartment building who has a really nice '92-'94 as well, deep red metallic, 4x4 F350 supercab, perfect shape- beautiful truck...

I think he most likely travels for work or something because I am never able to catch up to the guy, I only see him about once a month and he's always leaving. At first I didn't even know if it was an IDI or not (I guess during those years Ford didn't offer much in the way of emblems) and he has an aftermarket fifth wheel tailgate so no emblem back there. One day I parked next to it and popped the fuel door open - "DIESEL FUEL ONLY"

;Sweet that's the way to do it!

There's a lifted white mid 80s f250 with like 35s on it rolling around my town, must have just been restored because its NICE for being in NEPA! I would let off the throttle on the scout as he'd pass so I could hear if it had the cackle, yep, then the IDI rumble out the back!!:D

Are you thinking of Sam, who was in Kentucky? She was going to go to the 2010 IDI Weekend, and ordered a shirt. Then she never showed and promptly disappeared into the "where are they now" catagory.
