are the pedal assemblies the same from an 80-83 linkage clutch to an 84-86 hydro clutch?

i did find my answer finally after a couple hours of searching on FTE. (yes im a member)
they are different...but only the shaft the pedal is welded to is different...you can convert a linkage assembly to a hydro pedal by swapping parts.

i also found out something interesting today....
seems the auto pedal assembly uses the same casting as the manual one. so you could pull the pedals and shafts out of the brackets and swap them if you have a broken casting.
same ford part number...the revision numbers were slightly different but after close scrutiny they are not significantly different...maybe a couple of overflow casting bosses are a there but fit and function they are the same.
