I want to instal a oil pressure guage, where do I connect the line for pressure reading off the engine? Am running a factory style turbo and braided line to it so my trucks factory oil pressure sender isn't located there. Any recommendations on a guage? Just want a cheaper probably machinical guage? It doesn't have to be perfect but I don't want It to fail or be leaking into my cab too much lol

While mentioning on a budget been searching around and reading good and bad with glowshift gauges, price seems affordable but how bad are they? some say they work? Some say they don't? I have isspro boost and egt gauges now but egt guage is bad also looking the that as well. How's everyone mounting their bricknose dashes? I want it to know relitibly clean looking.

I might be doing this come spring myself.

How's everyone mounting their bricknose dashes?

I'm thinking I'm going to put mine under the ash tray at the bottom of the dash. A few guys have them mounted there. Maybe @BrianX128 will post up a picture of his?

Yeah, word of advice only use good 3m tape to mount them. Screws are next to impossible to get in there and the rubber cement crap on my water temps and oil pressure gauges looks like crap. That oil pressure gauge is getting replaced this week anyways and I scraped the stuff from the water temp gauge the other day.

Also, leave slack in your wires better then I did so you don't have a zip tied bunch like I do that you can't push up enough to hide. I shrink tubed all of those by that toggle switch so it looks less clunky.

And if you can keep it to 4 gauges it fits square. 5 or 6 not so much. From left to right I have electric fuel pressure, mechanical water temp, electric oil temp [replacing with auto meter this week instead of that Bosch pos], voltage, isspro ev2 pyro, electric oil temp after my bypass system as it returns to the filler neck. I wanted them all so it looks clunky somewhat but oh well.

Where did you put the sender to the oil guage? Where would I find the parts to t into my feed line from my turbo if that's a okay spot to check pressure?

Hi there! I did a triple gauge pillar mount with all Glowshift( boost,EGT, water-temp) . So far they have worked great. Install was pretty staight forward especially with the triple gauge wiring harness they offer. I did a Summit mechanical oil pressure gauge t-eed off the stock sensor location mounted in a similar location to BrianX128. I try to get some pics if that helps.

Just a word of caution if your turboed and have the adapter that runs the cdr off the pump cover hole.I would think about moving your bypass return. I had mine routed the same way dumping into the filler neck for a long time. One oil change I used thinner oil and once it wore in it was thin enough to flow so much that my car started sucking it in and tried to runaway!

You can run a 1/8" line from the ear on the rear drivers side. See pic. Use only braided SS line.

Once you get your real gauge hooked up don't panic when you see the pressure readings. These engines don't run a lot of pressure stock. Fully warmed up and running down the road full bore I might see 30-35 pounds.
