Hi guys! I finally found a good deal and bought an '85 F250 6.9idi, ext. cab, 4 speed w/ a professionally installed Garrett turbo. I plan on putting better gauges in it but for now the oil pressure is running just above the low norm line at operating temp on the dash gauge, should I be concerned? Coolant temp is good & stable. 1 issue that may be related is I seem to be getting a lot of blow-by, the breather on the drivers side valve cover has been capped with an edelbrock filter since there is no return line to the intake because of the turbo & it is dumping out oil which of course is falling right on the exhaust manifold causing smoke. So my 2nd question is: is it ok to just seal it off at the valve cover or is there a way to route it through the intake? Thanks for any info!

The oil pressure gauge is a dummy switch. Doesn't actually read pressure.
Look up Ford oil pressure gauge fix. You'll understand.

That breather filter needs to go bye bye.
Either do a rdt, or find a CDR setup.

Blow by is fairly normal for these engines.
