Oil Filters

Will a oil filter off a 97 PSD work on a 92 7.3L IDI Im almost positive ive read this somewhere on here before and it does work, but just wanted to make sure before i do get one.

yes it will. if the oil pan is bulged, you may have some problems getting it on and if you motor mounts are sagging, it will make it a challenge too.

It will work good, it will be a bit more difficult to install cause tis longer, but it will fit in just fine and filter better.

My 88 wouldn't take one. My 89 did. Just depends on the truck.

I'm running one. Part number FL-1995, much better filter and I highly recommend it.

I'll second the Amsoil bypass system. Just put one on last summer.
