oil cap

Hello Is it possible on a 95 7.3 for the pcv vent out of the valve cover to turbo to get clogged? I lost my oil cap andor it got blown off just found out to day and have to drive to the junk yard to get anothe don't figure it will hurt driving it because of the blw by that comes up. i heard someone say they won't run w out a cap thats un true. any thoughts?

itll run with out the cap.thats just nonsense from whoever said it.

the bread box looking thing(CDR,diesels dont have a PCV)on the valve cover can get clogged with oil and the little tube from it to the intake tube can get filled with oil.but it wont make enough pressure to blow the cap off.either it wasnt tight enough or you forgot to put it back on the last time you put oil in it.
