Noisy

I drove my truck about 150 miles yesterday out to the country. I park it, and stay over night. The temperature gets to the low 40s, high 30s. I went to start it this mornin, had no problems trying to start it, but when it runs, it makes a knocking noise for less than 5 seconds and then goes away. I made the return trip home with no more odd noises and it ran great. So - any ideas what made it? I have had the truck less than a year and never had this happen. Should I be concerned, or is this normal in the cold. It is a 1992 F-250 n/a 7.3 4x4 with a zf, and getting close to 200,000.

Thanks,

Nick
