My truck is a Custom and has rubber on the floor with no backing, no hood mat, etc. I would like to bring the noise level down to a dull roar. Would love to hear what you have done and what worked. Larry
Hood, fender, fender liner, firewall, headliner, door, carpet insulation. Killmatt window line down, all new everything seals, high quality muffler, Turbo, overdrive make for a whisper quiet ride at 55 just about like a modern vehicle
Tuck some moth balls under it.Cutting the soup bowl out of the aircleaner lid really makes it noisy also. The diesel trucks usually came with extra sound deadner from the factory. Mine came with a very thick pad mounted under the hood. The mice love to chew those up.
