I stupidly let a lot of air into the system while trying to purge a little. I really wasn’t thinking.
I opened the air valve on the filter housing but no fuel squirted out so I held it. Then the truck stalled from lack of fuel (air intrusion by me. Oops)
There is a mr gasket type pump on the truck. After much air purging at the filter, I’m getting fuel pumped to the steel fuel line exiting the filter housing (I loosened the nut and got drips with the electric pump running) but no fuel out of the steel injection lines at all.
I tried disconnecting the front two injection lines on the drivers side, the easiest to reach. I got a couple drops is all from residual fuel. I put a white rag between the injector and the fuel line and cranked, no fuel on the rag.
I guess I am having trouble getting the air out of the injection pump?
My batteries are very low now so I have to wait to try more.
