no e brake adjuster?

ok i had to change my e brake cables.

tru torque c94482, c94483

now i dont have enough length to reach the equalizer,(about 2 " to short) and there is no adjustment rod, just a block

is there a tech article on how to change the cables the rite way, or am i missing something, thanks guys

you have a self adjusting parking brake pedal. I just went through and changed my cables. I took my parking brake pedal assembly out of the truck clamped it in a vise and pulled the cable to tighten the adjusting spring then a 5/32 drill ( i think it was that size) goes into a little hole in the back of the pedal assembly to hold it in place. There is a little plastic wedge you will have to pull out before you can pull the cable. after you have it pinned put you will have enough cable length. pull the pin after the cables are hooked up.

This is what i did and it worked there might be an easier was but I do not know.
