I wouldn't mind something like that, the smaller wreckers are just so easy to overload.
very true.
But that poor thing would have serious issues getting out of its own way. heck, even the DT444E's are considered slugs in the 4700's

Well, like all the IDI's it wouldn't break any speed records, but it must have been a good truck to last this long.

worked on a truck similar to that a couple years ago, it was an 89 with a flatbed, ex forest circus truck. It was a real slug, I couldnt imagine it with a good load. I tried to talk the guy into a turbo, but he didnt use it enough to justify it.
