1: I'm experiencing what I believe to be "turbo surge".

Symptom: When I come out of the throttle, at 2700+ rpm, the engine "surges" a couple of times before "evening out".

I've had Bank's Gen 1 turbos, on 6.9 engines, and never experienced this.

Question(s): What's going on (mechanically)? What is the "work around"?

Thank you gentlemen, please forgive my ignorance in this matter.

It’s probably a fuel supply or IP adjustment that is causing it, running the same turbo with over 150cc of fuel I only get turbo surge around 2000 rpms where the turbo is being forced way outside its map, with stock fueling you won’t be even close to pushing the stock turbo outside its map.

Roger.
Thank you sir.

I'll be headed South, for work, pretty soon. I'll give you "heads up" when I can confirm my schedule. Maybe I can book some of your shop time on my way down / back.
