New Truck!

1990 F-250 Lariat 7.3 IDI E4OD 3.73 Gears. 90,000 original. Runs like a champ just need new tires/rims to make it look a little better. Drove it up north last week and averaged 19mpg.. not bad for a big old 3/4 truck!

That IS such a nice truck! I keep looking back at it wishing my SC looked half as nice. Oh, and 4wd with OD and decent gears. Wait, maybe I just wish I had thay truck...

Nice looking truck! been looking for one for a play toy myself, but cant find a nice one without mass rust here... nice find! i REALLY hate living in PA sometimes.

Believe it or not it is a MN truck. Bought it from the original owner who is a farmer and only drove it in the summer.. never seen salt. He told me 3.73 gear ratio was from the factory. He also said it also came with 1 ton frame/suspension from the factory.. don't know why it wouldn't be a F-350? whats up with that.. but I guess that explains the super stiff suspension.

The transmission shifts perfect 1st to 2nd, but from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to OD it seems to "double shift." If I am on the gas it is hardly noticeable, but if I am trying to be economical it will shift up, pause, shift down and clunk pretty good. Have any of you ever heard of anything like this?
