Just bought a new truck, and am having issues with the granny not working. First of all it has a gear vendors, If that helps. Reverse is fine, but when put in D it goes into third, and manual selection of 1 and 2 only results in second gear. OD light is staying on and the tach is not working, but there is a working sensor in the IP housing. Haven't had a chance to pull codes yet, but plan to. Any help on where to start?

It was the TECA relay under the hood. Replaced it and were good to go. Took me 2 hours with a multimeter and a wiring diagram what 3 different Ford mechanics couldn't do in 3 months. Another reason to never go to the dealer for anything...
