Happy new year everyone! My name is Wayne Jenkins, I own and operate a Towing and Roadside service company in the Columbus, Georgia area. Been in the business all of last year just doing roadside services and just found a Diamond in the ruff. A 1990 Ford F-Superduty XLT Lariat Rollback with a 7.3IDI non turbo, 18foot steel bed and an out of date PiggyBack lift. After weeks of researching Diesel forums i personally was blown away by the members of oilburners.net and their willingness to assist without the ego trash talk. Im 36yrs old and new to this whole world of bigboy toys!! I will be posting photos of my new baby once i figure out how along with my problems in hopes you good guys can help me get this money maker on the road!

Is it possible to add pics from the mobile version? I figured out how to do it from desktop, just trying to not have to transfer to update or add pics with questions.

waynetrain,

WELCOME ABOARD.

Fyi, I'm a long ago graduate of "The Benning School for Bad Boys" (IOAC 5-74) & (presuming he's still around) Bob Slover over across the Chattahoochee River is THE guru on the 7.3 IDI, should you need any advanced help.
(Bob would be about my age now. = about 70YY.)

He's forgotten more about the Ford IDI diesels than most diesel mechanics know.

yours, satx

I asked around trying to see if Bob Slover was around but had no luck :-(
It would be nice to have someone close by to shoot it with about the 7.3 locally.

waynetrain,

Unfortunately, I don't know where Bob is these days. - It's been over 20 Years since I last talked to him.

Sorry that I wasn't helpful; I've spent most of the last 20 years OCONUS.

yours, satx
