Lately, I have been putting a PILE of overtime in at the shop, like I had 3 days off this month, and all of them Sundays. The trucks needed to be geared up to be put back on the road, and I just did what I had to to help the old feller out.

Today, I was out fixing a chaffed air line on my truck and I asked the boss wht his price was on truck tires. He asked waht size and walked out of the shop to go to his house to call his tire man.

20 minutes or so went by and I was wondering where Dave got to.

He comes back and tells me that he ordered my tires, and to go get them installed. $150 a tire installed!!!

I almost fell over. I NEVER ask for ANYTHING, and I certainly didn't expect the old feller to put my tires on his account so I can slowly pay them off.

I got a set of LT 265/75/16 10 ply tires....

They ride like a DREAM, and I don't think I will have any problems with them.

Whatcha' all think?:dunno

It's hard to believe that the maximum load on the tire is only at 51 pounds. I have 8 ply load range E on my truck and they require 80 pounds of air to be at the maximum load capacity.

I wonder what the difference is that they require less air.

Yeah, that is kinda weird, wonder if it is a typo

Made in China? Check the date code?

I've had a bunch of them blow out on F350 fleet trucks. Customer wanted a budget tire and thats what he did, blew his budget on replacement tires.

I put hankooks on all those trucks now for a budet minded tire. All the other fleet trucks get Duratrac's

I was going to save up and buy some Michelin XPS rib tires for the old girl, but even at a discount they would have run me over a grand!!!!

I am hoping that these will run me a few years, I have a set of BRAND NEW winter tires mounted on another set of rims....ready to go back on as soon as the snow flies again.
