New DT466, '04 & up

We got a new truck in the fleet, a 2004 Kornbinder with a 225hp DT466. This thing has common rail and variable geometry turbo. Going to have to find out what cheap mods there are. Would be nicer to have it putting out about 300, but I don't drive it so it doesnt bother me either way. Any other input on this new generation of IH?

I guess so, we have a 2000 model that is the HEUI. Definately different systems. The new one has to go back to IH for a computer reflash to fix an idling problem when the PTO is on, I'm bugging them to reflash it to 300hp.

I've heard that Int doesn't like to flash them higher due to the EPA,but that was regarding a 97. He wanted to go from 250hp to 310hp. Who wouldn't?

Exactly, why should there be any hp rating below 300hp anyways?

Ohhhh, I dunno.....maybe drivetrain longevity, crazy driver-employees doing 90 through neighborhoods in a M/D
