Judging by the year of this truck,Would it have a C6 in it? cause if so I don't even wanna go look at it . if its not beat to a pulp i'd like to buy it

It could be a c6, but it's an 89, I believe that's when they started putting the e4od's in them.

I need to move if that is a high price then. Something like that even with unknown mileage is still a 2500 or better truck even though it is 2wd and I Michigan.

In 1988 the first 7.3 was out with a C6. Then 1989 the 7.3 got the first E4OD trans but you could order a C6 too. Not many wanted the C6 because the E4OD had overdrive and it was the latest and greatest electronic auto trans with an od... Little did anyone know the trans was really lacking some important internal parts...

That's why I jumped on my '89. The C6 is perfect for what I use this truck for.

I drive on the highway alot and I just hate a C6 lol My old 89 had one too...
