Here's what I have seen so far with it being in operation now for about a month. The water temp will run right up to 190 degrees and will stay there with the override activated. Running normal 650 rpms the water temp will only get up to 160 degrees. This is with the air temps outside at a balmy 32 degrees.

Very Cool Ron!! Like said earlier...just one more thing to put on my to-do list!! This would have come in handy bout a month ago when we had a ice storm come through and knocked out the power...we were living in the TT keeping the TT batt charged up by using The Dewey! I didn't want to leave it idling too long though but this would sure have solved that! Anyway I got a question though, can you literally set the rpm to anything you want and then "flip the switch" to on and it will hold that rpm or does it hold at the factory normal fast idle speed? Again thanks for the article!!

It will hold it to the fast idle speed set on the solenoid.
Maybe Mel will dupe me with the Moostang system and figure that in for the remote start.

I just wish i had a functioning fast idle solenoid. I can't even see mine now, gonna hafta pull alot of stuff out to get to it again to replace it.

Yeah, awesome article! It on my to-do list as well, I have everything but the shrink, and the little uhhh........ radioshack dohicky. (completly forgot the name of it now!) Maybe this weekend when I do my tank I get er done before the cold weather returns sunday!
Oh yeah, what is "wet stacking"???? never heard of it
