need speedo

Hi all. I just got back back from a long trip this weekend and my speedometer quit 2 miles from home. Was just curious if someone had one they could sell me for my 86 F250. The odometer still works, so it has to be something gone to crap inside the unit.
Next question. My truck smokes quite a bit on cold startup in the morning, it didnt do that last year with my original pump, my cold advance is working as it should. I have the timing a little more advanced than what it probably should be but I thought that would eliminate the smoke issue on cold start. The other thing is, I have the fuel turned up on this pump more than the original but I always thought that had nothing to do with smoke at idle, maybe I'm wrong.
My neighbors are ******** about the smoke when I start up in the morning and I'm sick of hearing about it! Thanks!

I had the dash apart on one I pulled the tach out of. I could go back and check it out tomorrow if needed.

i have a cluster out of a 84 diesel automatic doesnt have tach and as far as i kno every gauge works, if you want it shoot me a pm and we will talk about price

I havent tore it apart yet, does the speedo remove seperately form the rest of the instrument cluster? If so, tell me what you want for it. Mine also has the trip odometer. Thanks.

in that case i seem to have the same problem as you, i get a big puff at start up and all my glow plugs are good. im not to sure what it is.
